Does Fludara interact with other medications or foods?

In using Fludara, also known by the generic name fludarabine, caution must be taken with live vaccinations. You may develop the disease contained in the vaccine, due to a compromised immune system. Using Fludara with live rotavirus vaccine is not recommended. Other live vaccinations listed here are not recommended: influenza virus vaccine, Bacillus Calmette-Guerin vaccine, mumps virus vaccine, measles virus vaccine, pentostatin poliovirus vaccine, rubella virus vaccine, rotavirus vaccine, smallpox vaccine, typhoid vaccine, varicella virus vaccine and yellow fever vaccine. Talk to your doctor if you are taking blood thinners, salicylates or non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) since they can contribute to bleeding and bruising problems. Because any drug may cause side effects in some individuals, inform your doctor about any prescription, over-the-counter, vitamin and herbal supplements you are taking. You should not use this medication if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
