Can I take carmustine if I am breastfeeding?

It isn't known if carmustine (BiCNU, Gliadel) is passed into breast milk, or if the drug, which is used to treat certain kinds of cancer, would be harmful to a nursing baby who ingests it. For this reason, it's a good idea to stop breastfeeding if you must be treated with carmustine.
