Does Elspar (asparaginase) affect the reproductive system in men and women?

Taking Elspar (asparaginase) can affect reproduction in both men and women.

This medication may interfere with a woman's monthly period or normal menstrual cycle.

Elspar may also affect a man's sperm production.

Just because this medication may affect either of these normal functions, do not assume that you cannot get pregnant or get someone pregnant while taking Elspar.
