How soon after taking Rituxan will my symptoms improve?

It is difficult to know when your symptoms will improve after taking Rituxan. Because it is a strong medication, generally used to treat a type of cancer (non-Hodgkin's lymphoma) or rheumatoid arthritis, the drug itself triggers its own symptoms. Many people experience nausea, fatigue, fever or chills, and headaches while receiving the medication. This is particularly true of the first dose. Talk to your doctor about other medications that can help relieve these side effects.
