Who should take Letairis?

Letairis (ambrisentan) should be taken by someone with pulmonary arterial hypertension. It can be taken by a man or a woman. A woman who can become pregnant should only take this medication if she is using two effective forms of birth control to avoid pregnancy. Letairis is only available under the Letairis Education and Access Program, which requires you to sign agreements and be educated about the possible risks of the medication. You also should be willing to undergo regular blood tests while using Letairis.
