Who should not take Teveten?

You should not take the blood pressure drug Teveten if you're allergic to its active ingredient (eprosartan) or to any of its other ingredients. You also should not take Teveten if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, because it can cause serious injury or be fatal to a developing fetus. You shouldn't take it if you're breastfeeding, either, because it may pass into breast milk and be harmful to a nursing infant.
