Who should not take felodipine?

Felodipine should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients in felodipine or to similar drugs. People taking other medications or who have pre-existing heart, lung, liver or kidney problems may experience some complications. Using other medications at the same time may change how they work, but you still may be able to take felodipine. Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children should not take felodipine unless it is absolutely necessary.
