Who should not take bepridil?

You may not be able to take bepridil if you have liver or kidney disease. You also may not be able to take this drug if you have certain forms of heart disease or any blood vessel diseases, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, irregular heartbeat, sick sinus syndrome or low blood pressure. This drug may not be for you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not known if this drug will harm a fetus. It does pass through breast milk to a nursing infant and could be harmful. Discuss the use of bepridil with your doctor if you have any of the conditions listed above.
