What are the side effects of Teveten HCT?

An allergic reaction to Teveten HCT (eprosartan-hydrochlorothiazide) includes the swelling of your throat, tongue or lips. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms occur, and stop using Teveten HCT right away. Serious side effects to Teveten HCT include: fever, jaundice, dry mouth, confusion, lightheadedness, seizures, swelling or weight gain, chest pain, shortness of breath and feeling like you might pass out. Less serious side effects include: dry cough, headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach or back pain and a runny or stuffy nose.
