What are the side effects of eprosartan?

Eprosartan can cause certain side effects that include: diarrhea, sore throat, cough, stomach pain, nausea, joint pain, headaches, dizziness, depression, excessive tiredness and runny nose. More serious side effects include: chest pain, painful or difficult urination, swelling (in your hands, feet, tongue, eyes, ankles, lower legs or lips), feeling that you may pass out, fainting, difficulty swallowing or breathing and hoarseness. Call your doctor right away if you experience any serious side effects. This medication may also cause an allergic reaction. Signs of a reaction include: difficulty breathing, hives and swelling of your face, tongue, lips or throat. If you notice any of these signs, call 911 for emergency medical help.
