What is Serpalan?

Serpalan is the brand name for the drug reserpine. Serpalan is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It is sometimes also used to treat people with Raynaud's disease and mental disorders, although these are off-label uses. Serpalan helps lower the heart rate and relax blood vessels by controlling nerve impulses that affect blood pressure. Serpalan is a tablet that is taken orally, usually once a day. It is only available with a doctor's prescription.
