What is moexipril?

Moexipril is a medication that treats high blood pressure (hypertension). Moexipril is part of the class of drugs called angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. The medication blocks the production of ACE, which relaxes the blood vessels and lowers blood pressure. Moexipril is manufactured under the brand name Univasc.
