What should I avoid while taking Bystolic (nebivolol)?

Patients taking Bystolic (nebivolol) should not drive or operate heavy machinery because of the drowsiness caused by the drug. Patients should not skip doses or stop taking Bystolic because skipping or stopping can cause severe chest pain or heart attack. Patients should also first discuss with their doctors about taking other medications or using alcohol or tobacco while taking Bystolic. Pregnant or nursing women should not take Bystolic.
