What medical conditions affect my use of Benicar HCT?

You should talk to your doctor about pre-existing medical conditions that may relate to your use of Benicar HCT. A number of conditions may be affected by the hydrochlorothiazide's affects on dehydration. These include fluid imbalance, diabetes, gout, and hyperglycemia. Other relevant pre-existing problems include kidney disease, liver disease, sympathectomy, and lupus. If you have these or any other pre-existing medical conditions, it's important to tell your doctor before starting Benicar HCT.
