How should I take quinapril-hydrochlorothiazide?

Take quinapril-hydrochlorothiazide exactly as your doctor has prescribed. Generally, this means taking it daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. You may want to take quinapril-hydrochlorothiazide early in the day in order to avoid getting up during the night to use the bathroom, as quinapril-hydrochlorothiazide can increase urine output. If you take a tetracycline antibiotic, a quinolone antibiotic, colestipol or cholestyramine, make sure you take quinapril-hydrochlorothiazide at least three hours before or after taking these medicines.
