How soon after starting Atacand HCT will my symptoms improve?

Within a week or two of starting Atacand HCT (candesartan and hydrochlorothiazide), your blood pressure should start to improve -- however, since high blood pressure generally does not produce symptoms, you may not feel any different. Atacand HCT will have its full effect within four weeks. Be sure to monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking Atacand HCT.
