Does felodipine interact with other medications or foods?

Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may increase the effects of felodipine, so you should avoid them. As for medications, hydantoins, barbiturates or carbamazepine could reduce Felodipine's effects, while erythromycin, azole antifungals or cimetidine could increase its effects. The effects of macrolide immunosuppressives could also be increased if taken at the same time as felodipine. Phenytoin, itraconazole, ranitidine, ketoconazole and certain vitamins may also interact with felodipine. Talk to your doctor about all of your medications before taking felodipine.
