How does Demser interact with other medications or food?

Taking Demser along with other CNS (central nervous system) depressants like hypnotics, sedatives, or tranquilizers, will highly increase your risk of sedation, as will consuming alcohol. There is also a higher danger of extrapyramidal effects (involuntary movements) in people who take Demser while being treated with haloperidol or phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine, fluphenazine, mesoridazine, perphenazine, thioridazine, and trifluoperazine.
