How does clevidipine butyrate interact with other medications or food?

Clevidipine butyrate has not been studied in any clinical settings to determine if it has any interactions with medications. However, it is known that beta-blockers will need to be discontinued by gradually reducing the dosage while taking this drug. In some patients with disorders in lipid metabolism, a dose reduction may need to be made to compensate for the increase in lipids caused by celvidipine butyrate. There are no known food interactions.
