Can I use Univasc if I am taking lithium?

Tell your doctor if you take lithium before you start Univasc (moexipril), a drug that controls high blood pressure. Univasc may interact with lithium, increasing your blood level of that drug, which is prescribed for bipolar disorder. Excessive levels of lithium can be dangerous.
