Are there any risks in using Catapres TTS?

Catapres-TTS may be risky if you're suffering from kidney disease or any kind of heart condition. It can also result in life-threatening complications if you stop using the medication suddenly, so you should never stop using the drug without talking to your doctor first about how to do so properly. MRI exams may cause burns in people using Catapres-TTS, so be sure to talk to your doctor about any upcoming tests you may have. Catapres-TTS can interact with defibrillators and other electrical equipment applied to the skin. Driving or operating heavy machinery may be hazardous while you're using Catapres-TTS. The medication is known to make people sleepy. It also is not considered safe to use Catapres-TTS while you are pregnant.
