How soon after using Betagan will my symptoms improve?

One dose of Betagan can decrease intraocular pressure (IOP) within one hour after you use it. The peak effect of the medication occurs at between two and six hours after use. One dose of Betagan controls IOP for up to 24 hours. Since glaucoma can affect your vision, you should notice some vision improvement as the IOP falls.

Betagan controls the IOP associated with glaucoma, but doesn't cure it. Don't stop treatment even if you feel better, unless your doctor recommends it.
