Can I use Travatan Z if I wear contacts?

You can use Travatan Z (travoprost) if you wear contacts, but you need to remove them before you use the drug, an eyedrop that treats glaucoma. Leave them out for at least 15 minutes afterward. This is especially important if you wear soft contact lenses, as they may absorb a chemical in Travatan Z called benzalkonium chloride.
