Are there any special instructions for using Betagan?

Your doctor or pharmacist will provide directions to follow when using this Betagan eye drop solution to help your glaucoma. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist beforehand about any allergies to levobunolol, beta blockers, sulfites or any other medications. Be sure your doctor knows about all of the medicines that you are taking, including nutritional supplements and vitamins.

Your doctor should be aware of any serious medical issues you have had such as heart disease or congestive heart failure, thyroid or lung disease or diabetes. Also, be sure your doctor knows you're taking Betagan if you have any surgery scheduled, including dental surgery. If you have any questions about taking medications together,  talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
