What is Lamisil AT?

Lamisil AT is the brand name for the active ingredient terbinafine, a medication used to treat skin infections caused by susceptible fungi. This includes athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm. Lamisil AT works by interfering with the production of the fungal cell membrane, which kills the fungus. Low-dose terbinafine products, such as Lamisil AT, are available over-the-counter. Lamisil AT is available as a cream, spray and gel.
