In what forms is clotrimazole available?

Clotrimazole is available in several different forms. They include:
  • cream
  • powder
  • solution
  • lozenge (known as troches)
Creams, powders and solutions are for treating skin problems such as jock itch, athlete's foot and ringworm. There are specially made clotrimazole creams for women with vaginal yeast infections. If you develop thrush, an infection that causes sores in the lining of the mouth, your doctor may recommend a clotrimazole troche.
