What are the side effects of anidulafungin?

Anidulafungin has the potential to cause a variety of side effects. You should seek emergency medical treatment or talk to your doctor right away if you experience any of these potentially serious side effects: symptoms of an allergic reaction, including breathing difficulty, tightness in your chest, hives, a rash, itching or swelling in your face, lips, tongue or throat; faintness or lightheadedness; confusion; vision problems; muscle weakness or tenderness; pain, warmth or swelling in your legs; dry mouth; fever; and yellowing of your eyes or skin. Other potential side effects may be bothersome but are less likely to be serious. They include: hot flashes, headaches, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation. You should talk to your doctor if any of these side effects are severe or long-lasting.
