What are the side effects of miconazole nitrate zinc oxide?

Miconazole nitrate zinc oxide has few side effects. Rarely, children may experience increased irritation of the treatment area. Talk to your doctor if this occurs.

Some children may have a severe allergic reaction to miconazole nitrate zinc oxide. While such reactions are also rare, they can be life-threatening.

Seek emergency medical treatment immediately if your child experiences any of the following symptoms:
• rash
• itching
• difficulty breathing
• severe dizziness
