Who should not take droperidol?

You should not take droperidol if you have prolonged QT syndrome or congenital long QT syndrome. Also, do not take droperidol if you are allergic to it. In addition, if your heart rate is below 50 (bradycardia), if you have heart disease, if you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), if you have a potassium or magnesium imbalance or if you are taking diuretics, speak with your doctor about taking droperidol.
