There may be unwanted side effects associated with taking Anzemet tablets. Some minor side effects include diarrhea, fatigue and headache. You may also experience dizziness, light-headedness, fever, chills, tiredness or stomach pain, though these symptoms are rare. If any of these side effects becomes severe, contact your doctor. Other, more serious, side effects may occur from Anzemet, but these are rare. If you experience a severe allergic reaction; muscle cramps; abnormal blood pressure; chest pain; skin rash; hives; itching; labored breathing; swelling of the feet, face or lower legs; abnormal heartbeat; extreme stomach pain accompanied by nausea and vomiting; difficulties urinating; or blood in the urine, seek immediate medical attention. Anzemet is the brand name for the generic medication dolasetron.
