What are the side effects of Zofran?

Zofran (ondansetron), a prescription anti-nausea medicine, may cause mild side effects, such as diarrhea or constipation, weakness or feeling tired, a fever, a headache, dizziness or drowsiness. These are common side effects and not a cause for alarm. However, if you have any of these more serious side effects, call your doctor right away: blurred vision or even temporary vision loss, lasting from just a few minutes to several hours; a slow heartbeat; anxiety, agitation or shivering; feeling like you might pass out; urinating less than normal, or not at all. Call 911 if you have signs of an allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing or swelling of your lips, tongue, throat or face.
