Can I take aprepitant if I am breastfeeding?

Aprepitant (Emend) gets passed into the milk of nursing rats. Experts do not know whether aprepitant gets passed into human breast milk, however. Many drugs are passed into breast milk. They do not necessarily cause harm to infants. But it would be wise to be cautious. If you are nursing, tell your doctor before taking aprepitant.
