What are the side effects of Emend Injection?

Mild side effects from Emend for injection (fosaprepitant) may include: fatigue; queasiness; itchiness; stomach ache; nausea; vomiting, lack of appetite; heartburn; constipation; diarrhea; hiccups; headaches; excessive thirst; loss of hair; dry, burning skin; tinnitus; elevated temperature; flu-like symptoms; insomnia; changes in bowel movements; and discomfort at the injection site. Tell your doctor about more significant side effects, such as severe leg pain, intense stomach pain, bleeding from the rectum, extreme dizziness, blood pressure changes, fainting, pale skin, difficulty urinating, unusual bruising or bleeding, heart rhythm changes and any difficulty breathing. You should also discuss with your healthcare provider any allergic reactions, such as a rash, swelling, itching or hives.
