What are the side effects of aprepitant capsules?

Common side effects of aprepitant capsules include headache; mild gastrointestinal problems (constipation, diarrhea, gas, heartburn, hiccups, stomach pain, nausea or vomiting); feeling tired or weak; dizziness; insomnia; ringing in the ears; minor skin rash or itching; hair loss; fever; loss of appetite. If any of these side effects persist or become severe, contact your doctor.

Immediately seek medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (hives, rash, itching, facial swelling, and difficulty breathing or swallowing) to aprepitant, or other severe side effects, including feeling faint; extreme thirst; feeling very hot; inability to urinate; severe sweatiness; flu-like symptoms (such as fever or chills); or sores in the throat and mouth.
