In rare cases, granisetron transdermal system may cause side effects, including a severe allergic reaction that leads to difficulty breathing, swelling in the face or throat and hives. If you develop these symptoms, call 911. Other serious side effects of granisetron transdermal system may include lightheadedness, irregular heartbeat, fever, unusual bruising or bleeding, stomach pain and severe swelling or irritation on the skin where the patch is worn. Granisetron transdermal system may also cause less severe side effects such as dizziness, headaches, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness or upset stomach. Other side effects may be possible, so talk to your doctor if any new or unusual symptoms develop while using granisetron transdermal system.
