What are the side effects of granisetron?

In rare cases, granisetron may cause a severe allergic reaction that leads to difficulty breathing, swelling in the face or throat and hives. If you develop these symptoms, call 911 right away. Granisetron may also cause a heart condition called QT prolongation. If you develop symptoms like irregular heartbeat, chest pain, severe dizziness or fainting, talk to your doctor immediately. Other serious side effects of granisetron may include nausea, blurred vision, nervousness and stomach pain.
