Who should take glimepiride?

If you are suffering from Type 2 diabetes and are unable to control your disease with diet and exercise, you may need glimepiride. Never take glimepiride if your doctor does not prescribe it, but understand that glimepiride may be prescribed for reasons other than diabetes if your doctor feels this is necessary.
