Who should not take Starlix?

Do not take Starlix (nateglinide) if you:

  •   have type 1 diabetes (only insulin can control this condition)
  •   have had a previous allergic reaction to nateglinide
  •   are suffering from diabetic ketoacidosis
  •   are pregnant or nursing (unless recommended by a doctor)

Research has not yet shown what effects Starlix has on infants or children.
