When can I stop taking Prandin?

You should not stop taking the diabetes drug Prandin (repaglinide) unless it's not working for you or its side effects are unacceptable. Prandin helps control high blood sugar levels caused by type 2 diabetes, but it does not cure the disease. Stopping the drug could cause your blood sugar levels to become too high.
Many people stay on Prandin indefinitely.

If you do want to go off Prandin, talk with your doctor first so he or she can help you stop safely.
