What is SymlinPen used for?

The SymlinPen contains the diabetes drug Symlin (pramlintide). Symlin is an injected medication used by people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes to help keep blood sugar from rising too high after eating. The SymlinPen comes preloaded with the drug; you adjust a dial to deliver the dose your doctor prescribed.
