What is the proper dosage of glipizide-metformin?

There is no "proper" dose of glipizide-metformin since everyone may respond differently. Your doctor will prescribe the dose that is right for you, then monitor your response and adjust the does based on your response.
The typical starting dose of glipizide-metformin is 2.5 mg./250 mg once daily with a meal. The daily dose shouldn’t exceed 20 mg. glipizide and 2,000 mg. metformin and then monitor your response to it.
