If I skip a meal, should I still take my Symlin?

If you skip a meal, or eat too little at a meal, you should not take your dose of Symlin. You should wait until your next regular meal. A regular meal is one that has at least 250 calories or 30 grams of carbohydrate. You should talk with doctor, diabetes educator, or pharmacist for instructions on how to take Symlin.
