How soon after taking NovoLog will my symptoms improve?

NovoLog (insulin aspart) is a very fast acting form of insulin that lowers the body's blood sugar levels almost immediately. For this reason, it is important to eat within a few minutes of an injection to avoid hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). NovoLog can sometimes be given with long-acting insulin to keep blood sugar levels more controlled and consistent.
