Is it safe to take Precose if I'm breastfeeding?

You shouldn't take acarbose if you're breastfeeding, experts say. It's not clear if the type 2 diabetes drug Precose (acarbose) passes into human breast milk, but because many drugs do, they say, it's better to steer clear.
