What happens if I miss a dose of acarbose?

If you miss a dose of acarbose, take the pill as soon as you remember. But if you do not remember the skipped dose until it is almost time to take the next one, just take it at the time for your next dose. Do not double up on doses of acarbose to make up for the one you missed.
