How soon after taking Janumet will my symptoms improve?

Janumet improves the symptoms of type 2 diabetes fairly quickly; you should notice a difference within the same day.  Your doctor will want you to monitor your blood sugar levels and will schedule regular blood and hemoglobin A1C tests to check your diabetes. Factors such as diet, exercise, trauma, and infection can alter the way your body reacts to Janumet, so monitoring your blood sugar levels while taking this medication is imperative. Dosage adjustments may be required to achieve the desired effect.
