How should I take Metaglip?

Metaglip (glipizide/metformin) is taken in tablet form. Your dosage will be determined by your doctor, usually starting with a low dose and increasing gradually. To avoid hypoglycemia and reduce gastrointestinal problems, take Metaglip with food. Blood glucose monitoring will be used to determine your response to Metaglip. Be sure to store this medication at room temperature.
