What are the withdrawal symptoms of Paxil?

Some patients have reported side effects of abnormal dreams, numbness or tingling of arms and legs, and dizziness when stopping Paxil. Other patients have reported changes in mood, irritability, insomnia, and tiredness after stopping Paxil. Tapering your dose with a gradual reduction in the dose every week, rather than suddenly stopping, can help to minimize these side effects. Some patients may need even a more gradual dose reduction. You should work closely with your doctor to determine the best tapering schedule for you.
