Who should not take fluvoxamine maleate?

Children who are younger than eight years should not take fluvoxamine maleate. People who take any of the following medications should not take fluvoxamine maleate at the same time: alosetron, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), pimozide, thioridazine, or tizanidine. People who are allergic to any of the ingredients in fluvoxamine maleate medications should not take them. Fluvoxamine maleate tablets contain fluvoxamine maleate, colloidal silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, mannitol, mannitol granulate, polyethylene glycol 400, polysorbate 80, pregelatinized starch, sodium stearyl fumarate, titanium dioxide, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, and iron oxide yellow.
