Who should not take nortriptyline hydrochloride oral solution?

Do not take nortriptyline hydrochloride oral solution if you are currently taking monoamine oxydase inhibitors or have taken monoamine oxydase inhibitors within the last two weeks. If you have recently had a heart attack, or if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medication, you should not take this medication. If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or planning to become pregnant, you should notify your doctor before starting to take nortriptyline hydrochloride oral solution.
